MediConnect Exchange is a HIPAA-compliant health information exchange platform connecting healthcare providers, insurers, and patients. I led the modernization of their clinical data exchange infrastructure, implementing HL7 FHIR standards for seamless EHR integration. The project required deep understanding of healthcare regulations, data security standards, and complex integration patterns. I designed and developed RESTful APIs for patient data exchange, implemented comprehensive audit logging, and ensured compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and regional healthcare regulations. The platform now facilitates secure exchange of millions of clinical records annually, improving care coordination and reducing administrative overhead for healthcare organizations.
